Are You Scaring Potential Massage Clients Away??

    I’ve got a bet for you…

    I bet you’re unknowingly threatening
    prospective clients with whatever marketing
you do in your practice, and scaring them into
*NOT* calling you for an appointment.

    Don’t think so?

Well, let me explain why it’s most likely
    the case…

It’s no secret that people don’t like being
    ’sold’ or pressured into anything.

(It’s something I just personally went
through when looking for a new vehicle
for my wife, Kellie.  Uggh… the car
    sales-guy and his schtick!)

It’s something most people will avoid like the
plague.  Even when they think they can get
something for free, they’ll still avoid it if
there’s a chance someone’s going to try and
    sell them something.

    That’s what makes having a non-threatening
method for prospective clients to respond to
your marketing and get to know you, so important.

If prospective clients or people interested in
massage think they are going to have to
speak with someone live on the phone to get a
free appointment or free massage or
free report (if you’re lead generating), a
lot of people will not pick up the phone to
call, for fear of being asked to buy
    something.

This is why massage marketing pieces that offer
anything free, but require prospective clients
    to call you fail miserably.

    They scare people!

People think when you get them
on the phone you are going to try and ’sell’
them on becoming a client or paying for
    a bunch of massages.

    The result?

People don’t call, don’t get to hear why
regular bodywork is so valuable, and don’t
    end up as your client.

It’s also why ads that offer a non-threatening
form of contact work so well to generate leads
    and then eventually new clients.

Because when you give people a way to get
more information about the value of massage
with you, in a way that eliminates the
possibility of being in an uncomfortable
’sales’ environment, they become much, much
    more likely to respond.

An example of this is offering some type of
free massage report via a free recorded message
    or via an Internet video.

(Speaking of Internet Videos… have you seen
my new ‘Massage Movie’ yet? If not, you can
    take a peek here:

    http://www.GetMassageClients.com/MassageMovie.htm

Those type of lead generation approaches offer
    prospective clients the opportunity
to get more information about your practice
without having to be afraid of being put in
    an uncomfortable ’sales’ environment.

    And, the outcome…

You get far more phone calls, leads and
    new clients.

When you start including a non-threatening
form of contact in your massage marketing for
prospective clients, you will see a significant
leap in the number of leads you generate and new
    clients you acquire.

Always remember, you want to make it as
easy and as comfortable as possible for
prospective clients to learn why they
    should be getting regular bodywork,
and why they should be getting it with
    you.

P.S. There is an insane buzz right now with
the therapists on our email list about
the ‘Massage Movie’ trailer I released on
Monday or this week (in preparation for
    Massage Projet X).

If you haven’t seen it yet, you can go here and
