Make Your Massage Practice “REFERRABLE” In 4 Simple Steps!

“Is your massage practice REFERRABLE?”
Is it??
What an incredibly important and powerful question that is… that unfortunately most therapists don’t spend enough time thinking about.
Today, we’re going to change that, so you can start getting the referrals into your practice you want and need! I first heard that savvy question asked during a special interview I did some time ago with Bill Cates, author of the book “Get More Referrals Now!”.
Funny thing was, out of the 4 Referral- Generation experts I was able to secure for the Instant Massage Referral Stampede course, Bill was the least known of them all.
The 3 others – Bob Burg, Ivan Misner, & Lorna Riley – are all very famous, very recognized authors, speakers, and experts in referral-generation.
Meanwhile, it was that one question in Bill’s interview that REALLY left me thinking…
Do most massage therapists really understand what it takes to generate a consistent stream of referrals?
And, the answer I came up with was “NO”.
The reason being… in today’s competitive marketplace, most therapists no longer understand what it takes to truly be REFERRABLE. In my opinion, they grossly *underestimate* what it takes to get clients to refer their family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc.
Most therapists are under the impression that all it takes to be worthy of client’s referring is to deliver a good bodywork session.
Meanwhile, a “good” bodywork session is the least that clients expect. In other words, at a *bare minimum* clients are expecting to get a “good” bodywork session from you. That’s NOT what makes you worthy of a referral. That’s what makes you worthy of getting paid for the session.
That’s it!
Remember, in today’s marketplace and economy, people are inundated with choices. At any given time they have the choice of several massage therapists within a few short miles.
So, today, it takes a lot more than just being a nice person, a passionate therapist, and the provider of “good” bodywork services to be worthy of lots and lots of referrals. What does it take, you’re wondering?
It takes the following 4 things. I call these the “4 Secrets To Making Your Massage Practice Referrable”. (Very creative, right?)
Anyway, here they are:
======================================
Secret #1: Provide clients with unique benefits and value they can’t get anywhere else.
At the root of “winning” in a competitive marketplace, is your ability to distinguish what you do compared to every other massage therapist in your area. And, at the root of how you distinguish yourself needs to be with the delivery of extra value and benefits clients can’t get anywhere else. In other words, by over-delivering value to clients… far past what they, OR THEIR FRIENDS, can get anywhere else, and you become more REFERRBLE.
========================================
Secret #2: Provide clients with a unique massage EXPERIENCE when they come to see you.
The keyword in that sentence is “EXPERIENCE”. Today, we live in an “experience economy” where people are willing to pay extra for added experiences. Look at Disney hotels. Look at Starbucks. Look at the Rain Forest Cafe. These are all examples of businesses that provide their customers with a unique, fun and entertaining experience that differentiates them from their competitors. And, the result… premium fees, more word of mouth, and a loyal following.
========================================
Secret #3: Inject your personality into your massage marketing and practice-building communications with clients.
Never forget, clients will come to your practice for the benefits they can get from you. BUT, they will stay clients because they like you. They will refer to you if they like you AND know you. By injecting your personality into your marketing, and avoiding that boring, sterile “company-feel” marketing, you’ll develop a stronger bond with your clients which will make them feel much more comfortable referring to you.
========================================
Secret #4: Recognize the critical importance of stimulating referrals and use effective SYSTEMS to generate them on a consistent basis.
Don’t take referrals lightly. Don’t sit back and wait for referrals to come to you. Be proactive with your referral-generation activities. And, not just proactive, but systemized. In other words, you *must* have and use effective systems to consistently generate referrals from clients.
When done right, and in combination with the other 3 “secrets”, the systemization of your referral-generating activities is the single most powerful thing you can do for your massage practice. It’s how you give yourself powerful practice-building leverage. It’s how you turn your clients into marketing partners. It’s how you generate highly-profitable clients. And, it’s how you grow your practice rapidly.
And, quite frankly, it’s also why I went right to the top, and got the absolute best, most knowledgable “referral-generation experts” I could, to explain exactly how you CAN systemize your referral-generating activities. I spent hours on the phone wih these experts and got them to share specifically how you can quickly and easily turn your practice into a highly REFERRABLE new client magnet.
The outcome of these interviews… The Instant Massage Referral Stampede Course!!
If you have any interest in getting more referrals into your practice, spending less money on marketing, or just want to grow your practice even larger than what it is right now – with more clients and more money – you should seriously consider grabbing the Instant Massage Referral Stampede course now.
